  • University of Washington School of Medicine, residency in plastic surgery
My training in some of the most complex cases of trauma, cancer reconstruction, and congenital anomalies have given me a great foundation for working all over the body and with all other disciplines of surgery. My early love of art and sculpting always seemed to be a different world from my medical track, but my practice has allowed me to merge these qualities- combining form with function, reconstruction with aesthetics. It is an absolute privilege to use my mind and my hands to help people."
Biography
Dr. Hutter received his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, and his undergraduate studies focused on biology and sculpture at Georgetown University. He joined P&RS in 2004 after the completion of his combined training in general surgery and plastic surgery at the University of Washington.

He performs cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face and body, including hand surgery, skin cancer, and pediatric procedures. He is a clinical instructor for the University of Washington and has operating privileges at Valley Medical Center and Overlake Hospital.

Dr. Hutter was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and is the youngest of five in a family of doctors. He currently lives in Seattle with his wife, Kristin, and their 2 children, Anna and Henry. When not working, Dr. Hutter enjoys time spent with his family. Favorite activities include hiking, boating, cooking, and getting together with friends.
