Biography
Dr. Barker received his medical degree from Indiana University Medical School and completed his internship at Duke University Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Michigan Hospital and his plastic surgery residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School at Norfolk, Virginia.

Dr. Barker has also completed a fellowship at the West of Scotland Regional Plastic Surgery Unit, Canniesburn Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland. He is currently on the clinical teaching staff for plastic surgery at the University of Washington.

Dr. Barker and his wife have two children. His wife is a well known artist and medical illustrator. The Barkers are very active in their church and they enjoy backpacking, canoeing and other outdoor sports.
