Is cosmetic surgery covered by insurance? |

Purely cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance. Certain procedures which are deemed to be health concerns, such as upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) to correct visual field obstruction or breast reduction to relieve neck and/or back pain, for example, may be covered. |

Can you remove scars? |

Unfortunately, scars are permanent; however, some scars, depending on size and formation, may be improved by surgery. |

If I elect to have surgery, how long should I expect for recovery? |

Depending on the procedure, recovery can range from a few days to several weeks. Your surgeon will advise you of what to expect before, during and after your procedure. |
